Many employers agree that creating healthier employees is key to their organizations’ success, but taking the first steps can be daunting. The newly published Value-Based Health Care Glossary of Terms helps employers understand the fundamental terms and concepts of value-based health care (VBHC) so they can lay a path toward healthier organizations.
Developed by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the glossary is part of an ongoing, multi-step initiative to provide practical ways for multi-employer and public employer plans to integrate VBHC strategies. The initiative is funded in part by a grant from Pfizer Inc. For more information, visit www.ifebp.org/vbhc.
Value-Based Health Care Glossary of Terms is available in print or as an e-book and can be purchased for $13 (International Foundation members $10). Visit www.ifebp.org/books.asp?7112.
