CDC Releases Heath Risk Assessment Framework

This week the Office of Prevention through Healthcare published an online report, titled, A Framework for Health Risk Assessments Providing Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Services to Medicare Beneficiaries.

The Framework provides guidance that medical providers, wellness vendors and others can use for implementing requirements for Section 4103 of the Affordable Care Act related to the components of the Annual Wellness Visit, including Health Risk Assessment. The Framework is available here.
