PriceWaterhouseCoopers has posted a list of 10 health care industry issues to watch in 2013. With many of the major ACA reforms set to begin in 2014, much important prep work will need to be done in 2013. Among the topics included in the list are implementation activities that will be undertaken by states, "consumer revolution" in health and health care coverage, and employers "rethinking their roles on health care." Virtually all 10 topics will affect employers, some more directly than others. Coalitions will need to stay abreast of each of these topics to be able to provide information and advice to employer members. NBCH continues to monitor all 10 of these, among other national issues, and will continue to provide updates to members as appropriate.
