Partnership Advisory Council co-chair and longtime friend to the Partnership , William L. Bruning, JD, MBA, retired in June after 11 years leading the Mid-America Coalition on Health Care as president and chief executive officer.
Under Bruning's leadership, the Coalition grew to become a unique collaborative model comprising major employers and healthcare delivery stakeholders, including physicians and medical societies, health plans, hospitals, unions, pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, public health agencies, and bi-state governmental units.
